About the role
A Senior Buyer is responsible to manage overall GMG procurement at KSA, vendor relationships, and overseeing order placement, including non-trade materials and services. Candidate to track overall spending, sourcing price negotiations; purchase order creation; order tracking and management; and price dispute resolutions and agreements. He/She has to be responsible for multi-category buying- Admin, Logistics, FM, IT & Projects. Arabic Speaking is a must and to have good experience in handling the KSA supplier market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the Section
- Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase facility management materials from both local and oversea vendors
- Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project
- In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
- Ensures that products are delivered in a timely manner, and that the quality of the goods received is satisfactory
- Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
- Evaluates the performance of certain vendors in order to decide whether or not to continue buying from them
- Liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations
- Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.
- Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
About the requirements:
- A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years dedicatedly in Logistics and Supply Chain
Educational Qualifications and Certificates
- Well known University Graduate - Must
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain/Professional Course in Procurement(added advantage)
