The role:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, executing, and closing technology projects within timeline, scope and budget
Core Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning
● Define project scope, goals and deliverables
● Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budget
● Identify and allocated resources as needed
● Create and maintain documentation
2. Project Execution
● Lead project teams, adhere to project plans
● Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues
● Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and team members
● Ensure project is delivered within scope, on time and within budget
3. Stakeholder communication
● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements
● Provide regular project status updates to management and other relevant parties
● Address and manage stakeholders expectations
4. Budget and Resource Management
● Monitor project budget and resource allocation
● Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project expenses efficiently.
5. Risk Management
● Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
● Ensure that contingency plans are in place
● Address and resolve defects and issues promptly
6. Documentation and Reporting
● Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, reports and records
● Provide regular reports on project progress , milestones and budget
Job requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in IT , Computer Science or related field
● Proven experience as a PM, specifically roll out to regional
● Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, experience in implementing Agile/Waterfall methodologies in project management
● Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work effectively in a team and lead cross-functional teams
● PMP, PRINCE2 or similar project management certification is preferred
