About the role:
The SAP Analyst (SD) will be required to have the expertise in configuration, implementing and supporting SAP solutions to optimize business processes related to sales, procurement, inventory management and logistics.
Reporting to the Regional Head - SAP Application, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP Configuration
● Able to configure SAP SD modules to meet business requirements
● Customize SAP functionalities as needed to enhance system capabilities and address specific business needs
2. Implementation
● Participate in SAP implementation projects, ensuring successful deployment of solutions
● Coordinate with project stakeholders to define project scope, timelines and deliverables
● Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing business operation
3. Support and maintenance
● Provide ongoing support for SAP modules, including troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents and optimizing system performance
● Collaborate with end-users to understand their requirement and provide effective solutions and support
4. Integration and Testing
● Integration SAP SD modules with other SAP modules and third-party applications.
● Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure quality and reliability of SAP solutions.
5. Documentation and Training
● Document SAP configuration, processes and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference
● Conduct training sessions for end-users on functionalities, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of SAP systems
Requirements:
● Degree in IT or any other relevant qualification
● Solid understanding of the SAP SD modules, as well as the underlying business processes related to procurement, inventory management, sales, and distribution
● Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
● 1 - 2 years of experience in SAP SD module implementation and support.
● Preferable in retail industry experience
● Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S4 HANA
