Job Summary:
The incumbent as a Bakery Product Trainer is a key professional whose primary responsibility is to ensure that all bakery staff members are effectively educated and well-versed in the company’s bakery products, recipes, and production standards. This role involves a combination of skills in instructional design, teaching, and bakery product knowledge aimed at enhancing the skill set of staff. The role holder will be tasked with designing and implementing comprehensive bakery training programs that cater to the diverse learning needs of employees. Additionally, the incumbent must stay abreast of the latest bakery product developments, recipe updates, and industry best practices, integrating these into training modules to keep the workforce informed, skilled, and competent.
Job Description:
Oversee daily operations across the groups Bakeries (particularly key stores and new store openings).
Ensure high levels of baking knowledge and strict focus on product consistency.
Guide in-store teams to manage production, time efficiency, and overproduction/wastage control.
Manage ratios between FTO / in-store baking to maximize output from available equipment (particularly smaller stores).
Supervision of staff in-store to ensure group standards / sales targets are met.
Ability to influence / drive sales through customer engagement and focus on service.
Ensure compliance with food safety / health / hygiene standards within UAE.
High levels of attention to detail, product presentation skills, and ability to drive appetite appeal to customers.
Qualifications / Experience:
3-5+ years of fresh department / food production experience (supervision level / team leader required).
Ordering and stock rotation management experience.
Experience in staff training / team leadership within fresh departments.
Strong knowledge of food production, preparation techniques, and presentation skills.
Drivers’ license (own vehicle required for travel between stores; primarily Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi).
